Yin & Water
Proverb
A toad can be a better husband that a tiger.
Poem
The terrace shines clear
But the water runs murky
She sought a fine husband;
Found only a filthy toad.
We spread the fish-nets;
A wild goose was caught there.
She sought a lovely man,
But got this hop-toad.
Meditation
Tow yin forces mean you may not have the exact balance in life you dream of,
but do not despise what you have.
Your dream could have become a nightmare
– the tiger of the proverb.
Instead, you have had to settle for slightly less,
but in the long run the true worth of a person is not on the outside,
or in their apparent position or power,
but rather on the inside,
in the depth of their soul.
